Listed Independent Cinema in NE London Granted Planning!

Planning Permission granted for improvement works to the listed Phoenix Cinema!

Through the creation of an additional screen and re-arrangement of internal spaces, the Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley, will now be able to provide a greater choice of film programming to the community and create direct revenue for the Trust. The proposal will secure long-term viability of the cinema as a cultural resource that serves a mainly local audience, whilst preserving the historic fabric of the original building.

This is another example of Wren Architecture and Design working with independent cinemas to develop their schemes and to secure the approval of local authorities for the delivery of sustainable local cultural venues.
